The management and staff of our studio strive to provide the best possible dance training by way of the tried and true Arthur Murray interrelated system of teaching, created nearly a century ago by our namesake and used to instill a love of dance in everyone from Hollywood greats to heads of state and titans of industry.

From our start as Arthur Murray Dance Studio of Hartford back in 1960 through our transition to our current New Britain location in 1986, we have dedicated ourselves to serving not just our students but the community around us, hosting fundraisers for Footlights, Dress for Success, Dancing for A Cause, Concora Chorale, St. Jude's, and Give Kids The World Village among others.

Voted Top Dance Studio in Hartford Magazine and The Hartford Advocate, we have dedicated ourselves to nourishing a love of dance in all those who wish to learn and hope to soon count you among that number.

Rescheduling  Policy

  • In consideration of your instructor's schedule, we request twenty-four hours notice to reschedule a lesson.
  • A minimum of 12 hours is required to reschedule a lesson. Students may be charged for lessons rescheduled without sufficient notice.
  • If an emergency arises, we will not charge you for a missed lesson if it is rescheduled for later in the same calendar week.
  • We want you to take your lessons; this is where the value to you and your dancing is, so please respect your lesson time and your teacher's time and come dance with us!
